Hello! My name is Rachael Black, and I live in Brighton with my partner, my 2 children and my 2 dogs, Coby and Flo. I have been caring for dogs professionally since 2013, starting as a dog walker for a local company and then launching my own business as a dog walker and a daycare and boarding establishment. More recently, I have qualified as a dog trainer and offer one-to-one sessions.
I am fully licenced by Brighton and Hove Council to provide daycare and boarding, and currently hold qualifications in Canine Behaviour, Welfare and Training at Level 4, as well as keeping up to date with Canine First Aid.
I understand the importance of treating every dog as an individual, and providing them with an enriching environment is the norm in my home. I only practice force-free care, and use positive reinforcement in training. I have been involved in campaigning against the use of shock and prong collars on dogs, and I am proud to be part of the fear-free movement within dog care.
